Will is a Private Wealth Advisor at AWM Capital, licensed attorney, and a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) who has unique experience and insight into the career and business of being a professional athlete.
As a former Major League Baseball Players Association Certified Agent who represented players for over ten years, Will brings a wealth of industry knowledge that will help us better assist and understand the complexities of the lives and careers of the clients we serve.
In addition to his time working as an agent, he spent the two years prior to joining AWM working as business management and financial professional for a firm working with professional athletes and coaches.
Academics and Baseball
Will graduated from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and is a licensed attorney in the State of Louisiana.
Prior to law school, Will played baseball collegiately at Northwestern State University where he earned both a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Sports Administration.
Because of his diverse work history and educational background, Will has had the opportunity to be a guest lecturer at Rice University and Louisiana State University, as well as spending time as an adjunct professor at Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Community Service and Volunteering
It is Will’s goal in life to positively impact as many people as he can, and he understands how important it is to help other people when the platform and ability to do so exist.
Whether it is time spent working with a Non-Profit like Giving Back Baseball, which donated new and used baseball equipment to underprivileged youth, or coaching youth sports teams in his community, Will enjoys being able to give back to others.
Personal Life
A native Texan, Will lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife Annah and their two children Cecilia and Bryson.
He enjoys traveling, Saturdays with his family following the LSU Tigers football team, and spending time with his children attending their activities and events.
