Career in Tax and Finance
Robert McConchie is a Partner and Co-Founder at AWM Capital, and has over 18 years of experience as a tax and personal financial specialist.
He is a specialist in multi-state taxation and taxation of high net worth individuals and businesses. He was a 2018 recipient of the AICPA ‘Standing Ovation’ award, which recognizes young CPA’s under the age of 40
Robert is the Director of the Tax Division at AWM. He specializes in multi-state taxation, tax consulting, and tax compliance issues, and is responsible for providing expert tax advice on high-level technical issues, IRS engagements, and all areas of management of the firm.
Prior to joining AWM, he served as Tax Manager in the Phoenix office of Grant Thornton.
Robert is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA®) in the state of Arizona and California and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS®) credential.
Robert is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
College Baseball Player
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Westmont College, where he was a four-year letter winner in baseball.
Personal Life
Robert resides in Gilbert, AZ with his wife Tracy and two daughters, Hailey Joan & Reagan Grace.
Robert attends Calvary East Valley Church in Gilbert, where he serves as an elder and spends most of his free time coaching his daughter’s club softball team.
